Maranatha Volunteers International has officially given us a church site in the Dominican Republic. This site is located in the town of El Dean which is in the province of Monte Plata. The closest large city Monte Plata, which is also the capital of this province, is about 30 minutes driving from El Dean. Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, is about 1 hour away from the work site. Currently with the help of Maranatha and some natives of The Dominican Republic we are establishing communications with the congregation of Vislumbres de Sion. When you click on “The Site” located above and to your left, it will take you to a satellite feed of the grounds where the One-Day church will be erected. The green arrow is the actual town of El Dean. When zooming in closer you will be able to see the actual lot dedicated for the congregation's new church.
